Dinner's a cinch when you throw some kabobs on the grill. Make sure your meat is properly cooked with these simple-to-follow instructions.
Ingredients
- 4 Fresh to Market Skewers or Kabobs
Preparation
Hawaiian Beef Skewers: Heat grill to medium-high. Season grill by rubbing with an oiled towel to help prevent sticking. Grill skewers 2–3 minutes per side, until they reach an internal temperature of 135°F for medium-rare.
Hawaiian Chicken Skewers: Heat grill to medium-high. Season grill by rubbing with an oiled towel to help prevent sticking. Grill skewers 3–4 minutes per side, until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
Chicken Kabobs: Heat grill to medium. Season grill by rubbing with an oiled towel to help prevent sticking. Grill skewers for 4–5 minutes per side with the lid closed, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Adjust heat accordingly to prevent burning.
Shrimp Kabobs: Heat grill to medium. Season grill by rubbing with an oiled towel to help prevent sticking. Grill skewers for 1½–2 minutes per side, until the shrimp reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
